But he’s still an unexpected choice for someone like Post, who’s thought of as being at the forefront of the new guard.Post Malone’s debut album, tentatively titled Stoney, is due out this month — perhaps on “August 26,” the date that he used as the title of his May mixtape. Thus, his collab with Nelly likely arrives too late to make it onto Stoney. Complex points out that Post has a well-known affinity for country music, a genre that Nelly dabbled in with his “Over and Over” collab with Tim McGraw and his remix of Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise.” Whether it’ll twang or bang, we’ll be the first in line awaiting whatever the unexpected duo has just cooked up.
